What year did you start creating?

I've always loved the stage. Growing up I sang and danced at many conferences in Bermuda and across the United States with PRIDE: Youth to Youth.

What influences your work? What makes it unique?

Best known for my soulful voice, tantalizing poetry, and unforgettable freestyle skills. I love Neo-soul, R & B, Reggae and enjoy fusing the genres.

In August 2017 I created and launched Tanaya Presents: Open Mic Nights. My adult only, and family open mics are a place were all walks of life, children and adults alike, have a space to display their creative abilities. My mission is to promote an atmosphere of love, healing, fun and fellowship and provide a space to unapologetically be one's true self. The open mics are an exciting time. Talent galore - a live band, spoken word, artists from several genres and a live DJ.
