Writing: novels, essays, and short stories.

In 1997 I had my first acceptance from a literary magazine and co-authored my first novel.

What influences your work? What makes it unique?

I'm inspired by literature from around the world, work that encourages readers to think past their culture, language, and species.

Mandy-Suzanne Wong is the author of The Box, a novel in secondhand stories (Graywolf Press, forthcoming 2023), as well as Drafts of a Suicide Note (Regal House), Awabirn (Digging Press), and Animals Across Discipline, Time, and Space (McMaster Museum of Art). She has published in Arcturus, Black Warrior Review and numerous other publications. She is represented by the Willenfield Literary Agency.
