What do you do in your creative field?
I create gyotaku which is a Japanese art of printing fish. Gyotaku is a way of preserving a memory of your catch while still being able to eat after.
What year did you start creating?
I printed my first fish in 2016 after that I was hooked.
What influences your work? What makes it unique?
Diving and spearfishing really influences my work and brings life to the prints. I use old world materials simply sumi ink and washi (Japanese paper).
Anything Else?
If you would like to print your catch shoot me a message. I pick up your fish and get it back to you asap. I do everything in house from printing to building custom frames for the pieces to make your experience easy and stress free.
